Nachos at McGillicuddy's

Where: McGillicuddy's, Main Street, New Paltz, NY
What: Nachos
Rating: 4
Brief Review: Nice and cheesy at first. Didn't like the make ur own with sides of guac, sour cream, and salsa. Scallions and olives were a nice touch. Kinda dry. One chips holds all the topping. OMG it was a  super motherchip.

Nachos at Hills Cafe / Space

Restaurant: Hills Cafe / Space
Location: 6-10-1 Roppongi Minato-Ku
Price: ¥8000
Rating: 2

Description: These Japanese chos were more conceptual than yummy. They fall under the DIY category. The Hills Cafe understood the nacho basics, but the implementation was poor. Toppings were seriously lacking leaving an unexcusable about of naked chips.  Creative use of chopped avocado in place of guacamole.

5.25.2009: Nachos at Tootsies in London

Restaurant: Tootsies
Location: London, UK
Type: Loaded Nachos
Ingredients: Fresh guacamole, sour cream, turtle bean salsa, grated cheese, and jalapeƱos. (Added chili beef).
Cost: £6.75
Rating: 4

Brief Review: These UK nachos were watery, sloppy, and small. These nachos are in a whole new category of "make your own nachos". The guac, sour cream, salsa, and beef chili were separated very meticulously across the chips. Tootsies recommended a nice Pinot Grigio to accompany the nachos (as shown above)
