Nachos at McGillicuddy's (Irish Nachos)
Where: McGillicuddy's. Main Street, New Paltz, NY
What: Irish Nachos - Waffle fries with cheese, real bacon, scallions and sour cream on the side.
Rating: 2
Our Take: These waffle fries guised as nachos were pretty darn delicious. The real bacon was a nice touch! They're more like potato skins than nachos, though.
Nachos at Hills Cafe / Space
Restaurant: Hills Cafe / Space
Location: 6-10-1 Roppongi Minato-Ku
Price: ¥8000
Rating: 2
Description: These Japanese chos were more conceptual than yummy. They fall under the DIY category. The Hills Cafe understood the nacho basics, but the implementation was poor. Toppings were seriously lacking leaving an unexcusable about of naked chips. Creative use of chopped avocado in place of guacamole.

Brief Description: These are the most interesting chips and salsa nachos I've had! The ingredients were fresh and the dipping sauce was scrumptious. These still do not constitute a superb nacho platter, but they are definitely worth higher than a 1 for flavors alone.

Brief Review: The dreaded "pizza nachos." Eight delicately covered chips slathered in greasy cheese. There's a reason why the word nachos is plural.
