The biggest problem is the toppings. They're not layered, so they cling to the top of the nachos and never mingle with the chips below. In fact, it was hard to pick up a chip without also taking the whole top. This made for a large plate of naked chips at the end. That said, the nicest touch was the addition of ground beef, which makes perfect sense for a place with great burgers.</div></span></span>zunzipshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06614685752989913975noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2443570606299122187.post-48066635549276524212011-01-13T11:48:00.005-05:002011-02-22T12:30:41.695-05:00Nachos @ Diablo Royale<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrup1HDqHwSvK6DkMWs9PFjWaXqeWy6xqGxLaj_Z9lUQDLeILQuMga2QnN6bZN505fUWSO517QdsoXrZE5F4vWcSjKWfXezJ3396GM687dWibMdaqBBgsOu4xA6DcYWaq1aCWjfpGmy_c/s1600/photo%25285%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrup1HDqHwSvK6DkMWs9PFjWaXqeWy6xqGxLaj_Z9lUQDLeILQuMga2QnN6bZN505fUWSO517QdsoXrZE5F4vWcSjKWfXezJ3396GM687dWibMdaqBBgsOu4xA6DcYWaq1aCWjfpGmy_c/s400/photo%25285%2529.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguv-D15s_8VKjd4gxuf2Q2S7TD_azfQFwe4BA4aqad0UsNd2j69OlWhB9sZlfOvWda9XX2X9pEvetG2k6UuGulF9KP6CgRC3w3kdvc1AT9Z4ahOLaIuOM1Ltf5RpkjIxyWAmFSKJqObjw/s1600/photo%25283%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br />

Brief Description: Ok chos for Japan. Homemade chips and plenty of cheese and toppings. There were few naked chips! Portion size was on the small side and the cheese was an odd mixture of American cheese sauce and and cheddar.Kristen Sosulskihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08414826446390565509noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2443570606299122187.post-48346137495352508972010-09-10T20:14:00.005-04:002011-02-22T14:51:46.905-05:00Nachos @ The US Open<a href="http://blogpress.w18.net/photos/10/09/10/2345.jpg"><img align="left" border="0" height="298" src="http://blogpress.w18.net/photos/10/09/10/s_2345.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="400" /></a><br />

So, so nachos at the open. Not much different from last year. Round chips, cheese sauce, canned olives, and generous helping of sour cream. Chips were soggy 1/2 way through.<br />
<br />
Giving them a 4. Definitely <b>stadium nachos</b>. Good for your nacho fix!Kristen Sosulskihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08414826446390565509noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2443570606299122187.post-66451472081256454822010-08-02T13:27:00.007-04:002010-10-20T11:12:49.678-04:00Nachos @ Castaways North Avenue Beach Bar and Grill<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdOs7xW_TAYXtR1oQWaqNeuC6IkuTs0cCjI4nveqIVHw_KzciV6bhe4vOeEjek43KAdz5hjdhccF6XiCV62M38KFWIa1uH8vfluEXVxrDiejve77Xg-4Gzs3VeJwSYsfge8U13Il4dDtg/s1600/Castaways.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5500865758195709394" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdOs7xW_TAYXtR1oQWaqNeuC6IkuTs0cCjI4nveqIVHw_KzciV6bhe4vOeEjek43KAdz5hjdhccF6XiCV62M38KFWIa1uH8vfluEXVxrDiejve77Xg-4Gzs3VeJwSYsfge8U13Il4dDtg/s320/Castaways.jpg" style="cursor: pointer; float: left; height: 200px; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; width: 150px;" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; color: #333333; font-family: 'trebuchet ms',verdana,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;"><br />

Our response: "Breakfast nachos! Is there such a thing?" And that is how Yummy Nachos discovered the wonderful world of Chilaquiles, a beautiful merger of nachos and eggs. Why this dish is not more common in NYC is beyond us, but now we are on the hunt down. We sampled an assortment of Chilaquiles in the Windy City and many of them tried too hard to be an egg-centric dish. Kitsch'n Chicago gets it right by making their chilaquiles more nacho-y. If there is any drawback, its that the chipotle salsa does not do much to add to the dish. It'd be great if you had the option of other toppings, such as a salsa cruda or a salsa verde.</span></span></div><div class="blogpress_location" style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"><br />
